Ah Chuan - SahaI would like to dedicate one of my tries today to this 2 souls.
It's just ten percent luck
Twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure
Fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
(Quote: Remember The Name ,Fort Minor)
I walk in the field with nothing to offer.Comes coach who jumpstart me by throwing me into a game. Inspired by the actual gameplay, driven by the will to outwit and outplay, i nurtured under this two people. They taught me every trick in the book, hoping that i would bring in the medals when the time comes. But nothing happened.
We were all sadden that our closest attempt for glory was shut out. That day will always be remembered. How the Titans fight, dripping blood and sweat. Luck just wasn't on ourside. No medals, no glory. A sad day in the pioneer MI rugby history.
Smiles were on this two faces, they had achieve what they wanted. It wasn't the medals that they yearn for but 15 people to came together from all walks of life and achieve the impossible. To create a team of versatile and discipline gentlemen to play rugby. And they had 15 of them to showoff to the world like medals.
One could throw punches, kick somebody's back, stomp an ankle and even break a leg in a rugby game. But it takes pure discipline to not do it. If one could accomplish that, then, despite the scoreline, he's a winner.
enough about rugby.enough about rugby.enough about rugby.enough about rugby.enough about rugby.enough about rugby.enough about rugby.
just last week, i encountered selfish souls who would not give up their seats on the mrt to a pregnant lady. yes, its irritating but the world is like that. But good samaritans do exist. like yesterday, this lady on the bus spotted a schoolboy looking all frail and pale. So when she pushed me to get to that boy, i thought like 'excuse me?!be patient'. but then when i saw she focus her attention on the boy by getting him a seat, i was rather 'wow-ed'.*salutes* to the lady in green.
FYI! i was'nt seated and my back was facing the boy. and its not that i saw and ignored him.
and so here i am at work, blogging. and if by chance farah walks in.thats just as good as me going home. which im rather looking forward to. i miss working here, at the same time i hate to work here.maybe its just how boring things can get on a normal shift.but how lively things can get when the overlapping shifts comes. like today we haavvve Azy and fadly. and even val is coming to work. yes, kash, when u read this i'll be smiling.just wait and see!
kash.screw you.i cant blog when people are watching.hah!
i was smoke-free for 4 days but i tested myself.tried to smoke, but i couldn't finish a whole cigarette. woooooo! I now declare myself as an occasional smoker. Atleast its one step closer to being smoke-free. Or im just trying to find a reason to lit up.Only i know!haha! but i swear, just 1 day of no ciggies showed alot of difference. or maybe im just much fitter then them, comparing our belly sizes!
