And you do it like this!
RE:
EF WAN!
yes! finally i got time! F1 was simple awesome. eventho singapore will be doing it for the next 5 years, its wont be the same as the first time. it was truly experimental yet with high success. and i have a thing for being the first. like going for the first NDP at marina bay with diq. it was a memorable nite. but unlike NDP, F1 was a more 'movable' event. armed with a digicam i strayed at first den roamed when i knew i had acess to aniwhr basically. climbing and jumping to get spots to shoot the cars. it was mildly adventurous i have to say. and the best part is i went alone. so i dun have another opinion to change my mind when i did silly things.
the first thing i notice on the way there was the smell of burning rubber.u can see skid marks on the tracks and the atmosphere was slightly smoking, maybe due to the nascar test runs they had in the afternoon. i was realli all hyped-up. i mean, i love cars. the faster the better.and being a singaporean living in a 'fine' city, F1 cars are the fastest legally right now to have on the streets. so i rather not miss this beautiful chance.who knows i might not live to see the next SG grand prix.saw afew local starlets on the way there. but even that is not enough to steal the show.
den the test rounds begun, followed by the qualifying rounds.it was fun to see F1 on tv, the engine sounds nice. very adrenaline rushing noise, especially during cornering. kind give me the temptation to glance at the tv. but den im seeing and hearing this for real now! its TOO loud. thats the best part! when the show itself drowns the noise of the crowd, nobody else can steal the show now. other den this, i would say the next best thing would be to actually sit at the pit stop grandstand and better den that, to race a F1 car itself. thats the reason i rather take manual license. with hope one day i get to race in those real speed demons! haha!
it was awesome to see the crowd cheering and all. especially during the last round when they are waiting for the seconds when the car pass the finishing line. becaus ein such a sports, even the miliseconds matter. travelling at almost 300km/h or 83.3m/s life is a blur and the g forces are enough to knock an average man out. its not just skills and good decision, healt and luck plays a part. while working i managed to bump into some of the drivers in the gym and had a little chat. some can be a dick, and some are just plain old guys. and i saw shilpa shetty too! hotstuff!
ok back to that nite, den the race was done, but its not over. now i got to race home. beat the crowd by walking to bugis instead and was home in a jiffy. a nite worth remembering and reliving over and over!
once i get fucking youtube to be working and properly uploading videos...i'll post it on my blog. for now..just hang in there..
some photos.
and the videos...part 1 and 2..
my dad's back home. for a week now. and he cooks breakfast when hes not working. its nothing special but its always nice. i get reminded of how i see chefs in the ritz modifing recipies with what ever food they could find left. u see!...that why men are just better den women at everything. women can look at the cook book and still destroy everything. haha!
